Angelo Habib: The best food I've had in Mexico, I always have troubles finding good Arabic food while traveling and thought I would have the same problem in Mexico until I stumbled upon this restaurant with the absolute most nicest owner, I was missing my mother's home cooking and Chef Imad reminded me of home, true authentic Lebanese food. Astro Keka: I'm glad I went here with plenty of time on a Saturday early afternoon, they already had three parties of people and none of them had their plates out yet. We greeted one gentleman who was too busy taking care of the trompo meat. The ambiance was cute and warmth. We then were greeted accordingly by Jocelyn who turned out to be super gracious, assisted the other tables while taking our long order. The food came right on time and it's a LOT, I truly enjoyed their Mediterranean salad, and we literally had to take our gyros and falafel to go because we were so full with the salads and fresh hummus. I definitely will recommend this place to anyone missing Northern Africa, Mediterranean food. If you can, get a seat by the window if you like to do people watching, if not they have a nice indoor table seating area. Vegetarian options: A couple of vegetarian choices. Kid-friendliness: For one kid was OK
Response: Hi! Astro We just want to thank you for taking a few minutes to write us a review, each review help us a lot to grow. We are great full for having you as a client, We hope to see you soon!

Shoeb Shaikh: Top quality food with great ambience, friendly owners and super friendly staff. They have small menu with all good tasting food. Do try thier coffee and desserts, super rich and satisfying. The only few halal restaurant in GDL restaurant and one of the most authentic doner kebab or shawarma you will find in the city. Friday night they have belly dance shows so make sure you visit them. Side note: Thier chicken shawarma has lot of turmeric so if it bothers you ask them to put in less.

Dawn Galbraith: Best Indian food we've ever had, and we are connoisseurs of it. Lol The pakoras alone are to die for! Reasonably priced and generous portions. We got 7 dishes to try a bit of everything, and ended up going back the next day for more! Ali's corner is ledgendary, you can taste the love and care put into the freshly prepared food!! This place is such a gem, highly recommended!!! 10/10 💎💞👍✨🙌🍲🇲🇽🔥

José Wilber Macedo: Nice place, tasty food, good portions, affordable prices, Ali is very Kind he explained the dishes to us and even he explained us a little bit about his country! Spanish and English spoken! Very good experience

amulya sharma: It's not a place it's a heaven for Indian people in Guadalajara. You eat there or take away. Food price is cheapest compared to other Indian restaurants. And at the same time Food taste Portion and quality is the best. Sorry guys my plate in the picture is empty because I forgot to take picture before eating in Excitement of how good food was. Hahaha. Enjoy. Hope my review helps you

sathiyanathan arunachalam: The nan was too thick and the butter chicken was not anywhere close to the one we get in india. Could have been better. The other time had chicken briyani and it was ok.

K. T.: This is a must try food and tea. Fantastic people, super clean and delicious Moroccan Arabic style food. Don’t forget to try the tea.

Ahnaf Jawad: I would love to come here if I ever visit Mexico. There seems to be not a lot of halal options in Mexico. I love what your doing with your restaurant. The food looks great. Keep it up 👍😁

Tania Cortes: Yesterday was my first day trying the Arab tacos, we ordered beef Kabab that is accompanied with French fries. We will continue to try their different dishes.

Sonia Calderón: Very good tacos, highly recommended, rose water with yerbabuena delicious.

Arturo Juárez: Pleasantly pleasant surprise, authentic spicy flavor, very soft meat, rich hummus, excellent rose water 🙂
Response: I'm glad you liked it, at your service. Thank you for your comment 😀

Francisco Flores: It is very clean, everything prepared at the moment, the meat of the Arab taco is very rich, lean and of good flavor. If you don't eat chili, don't order the chilitos because they are a bit spicy. They offered me a very rich tea! The one who prepares is very kind and clean. Try the rose water, it's very tasty too. I would definitely buy again. There is only parking on the street but on the perpendicular you have more space. I did not see a table for a family of more than 3 but it has a place on the bar and a small table. It is a silver stall inside a garage, at the beginning I went looking for the place but it had already passed me and you can turn left in the next block. Highly recommended.

Juan Carlos Herrera Salas: The Arabic tacos are a delight. It is one of the most interesting culinary alternatives in Lomas de Polanco.

juan luis carrillo avila: Very rich a good experience attended by its owner tarek

Laura Andrea Guerrero: I have only tried the Arab tacos, and those are good, seasoned meat and good dressings, adequate quality, I prefer the beef one to the chicken one for my taste, I don't know the flavor of other foods that it offers but I suppose it will also be good

Pancho Barraza: Very good, super lean meat, soft, well seasoned, all very rich, not very fatty, really very good Arab tacos. Thanks a lot.

Al Meraj Grill & Pak Indian Cuisine Providencia: what do users think?

Nagarjuna K: Good experience at Indian style restaurant, we must try Indian dishes. Today we had Staters: Chicken Tikka, Veg Pakoda, Tandoori Other items: Butter naan's with Chicken Curry, Butter masala and Mutter Paneer masala In that I liked Chicken Tikka, Veg Pakoda, Chicken Curry you must try it And Mango lassi also you must try.

Laurie Ebo: Al Meraj is an open air restaurant with plenty of seating. The food was delicious and fresh. I had the samosas, a lental dish, a mixed vegetable dish and a lemon mineral drink. The food was very tasty and made to your level of spiciness. I will definitely visit Al Meraj again.

Aldo Anoveros: This is a great place and I have always enjoyed their food for several years now. However I believe that as the place grows customer service should be a priority - the restaurant layout doesn't help the staff to maintain attention to all tables at the same time. It would be helpful to hire additional staff, or maybe improving the staff management so they are more effective between order taking, and serving the food.

sumit suman: Most authentic food in Guadalajara. My fav is chicken acharati, mutton handi. Mutton paneer achari. Gulab jamun are good in size . Overall it’s a genuine price and good test food place. Highly recommended at first place for Indian food.

vishal chaturvedi: Overall the restaurant lacks food and service quality. Food -2/5 Portion - 3/5 Ambience 3/5 service 2/5

Jan M: Tasty food; great mutton curry, very fresh large naan, whole jeera (cumin) rice. Thanks

Lori L'Heureux: Excellent flavors and service. The portions are a little small so we ordered extra rice, naan and paratha.

Art Magana: It was ok. Super spicy though. I was hoping for more of the flavors I enjoyed at N.Y. Indian food restaurants. It wasn't.Food: 3/5 | Service: 4/5 | Atmosphere: 3/5 …More

Sirra Anderson Crum: My husband and I came here for lunch and wow, so good! We got the chicken tikka masala and the butter chicken. Both were very delicious! We also got the mineral lemonades. I highly recommend this place.

Tristin Crum: Phenomenal service, extremely friendly owner, great food. We got the Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala with rice and naan and everything was great. It was a different flavor profile than my wife and I were used to but not in a bad way, the food was phenomenal, we’d absolutely return and you won’t be disappointed

V Schuler: So I came here and I was more than surprised. I would have never eaten Hot Dogs in Guadalajara if my friend wouldn’t have recommended them. They also have a vegetarian option with falafel. This place is amazing. You get your food and have so many options of toppings and sauces. Everything well described. More than pleasant to try his food. Very friendly owner and staff. This is a must go to!

Rohan: Stumbled on here because the taco place was super packed but absolutely loved it. So many fresh ingredients and sauces to go along with your meal. I have only gotten shawarma but there's other are other options as well. Service is friendly and quick and sometimes the limited seats get taken up quickly.

Morenike Coker: It was okay but I probably won't be back. I ordered a hot dog (25 pesos) and told them to change the bread due to health concerns and exclude the cheese for vegan option. When I went to pay I was told the price was 4x more than what I ordered (105). The flat dessert I had was burnt. In addition, there was lots of violence in the movie played. If you are guarding your spirit, this may not be the place for you. If you have to cheat for 80 more pesos 😔🤮🙈🙊🙉 Communication is 👎🏾bad here.

Julia Casillas: If in your life you’ve had a good falafel do yourself a favor and skip this experience. The deep-fried pita gave me pause. The falafel patties were more like crumbled crunchies with almost none of the characteristic soft parts. I still went for it because country/regional preparation differences benefit of the doubt. I couldn’t put my finger on what tasted so odd—a gooey fake butter taste. Flipped over my 2nd half to find the pita slimed with cheese. Never heard of cheese on falafels. Asked the owner/chef if he could trade out the (half) pita bread for one without cheese but said he couldn’t just give me half. He told his wife/business partner she should always ask about cheese. Her response? Turns around and chastises me for not having read the menu and adds “Mexicans don’t have the habit of reading.” The menu that hangs on a wall in the dark.

Juan Alfredo Blancas Velázquez: An excellent place to enjoy Egyptian food in Guadalajara. Good attention for Mohammed.

Mell Valenzuela: Great place with a nice variety of vegetarian options, also great service and amazing flavours. Not expensive at all 😁 worth another visit!

Carlo Olmos Carrillo: This kebab joint is awesome! The flavour explodes in your mouth. I wouldn't come to Guadalajara without having one again!

Hirsi Hayo: Super super tasty. Highly recommend

Indeshaw Adenaw: Very authentic Egyptian street food in the middle of Guadalajara. It was a pleasant surprise stumbling across this place. The grill chef is Egyptian and the guy taking orders was I believe Algerian. Both were friendly and welcoming. I tried the kabob dish and it was excellent. Great flavors and lots of kebab meat. Try the different sauces they provide. Some of the hot sauces were really good.

Patrick Thiele: The tacos and burgers here are very special and unique with Egyptian flavours! Be sure to try the falafel or lamb options to really experience this. And don't forget to try several of the amazing salsas! There is often a line, especially on Saturday night, but service is fast.

Al Diwan Mediterranean Cuisine & Bar: what do users think?

Juan Jesus Robledo: Its the restaurant in the Baruk hotel i was stayed there before getting married to my girlfriend three years ago. I remembered the breakfast menú was very good delicious breakfast items. This time went for my furst meal of the day kind if late around 3:30 so it was more like lunch and had the Mediterranean Lebanese style buffet nice experience, friendly staff from valet attendant, the person offering you Turkish style tea or coffee ☕. To the lovely hosts and wait staff in the restaurant. In general nice experience... Vegetarian options: Good selection Kid-friendliness: Dis not see any kids but kid friendly. Parking: They offer one hour self parking and one hour free valet service. Wheelchair accessibility: O believe its wheelchair friendly.
Response: Dear Juan Jesus Robledo I appreciate the time taken in your comments, it is pleasant for us to know that you enjoyed your stay, we hope to see you again. Receive a cordial greeting

Ernie Peacock: Our first experience at Al Diwan. The ambiance was nice but I was surprised to see two men (presumably managers) smoking hookah pipes in the restaurant. It is very clean and well serviced by the staff. The food was not what I expected nor the variety I expected. No dessert was included in the pricy lunch buffet ($295 pesos + tax), which I found disappointing. The Lebanese style coffee served with the meal was excellent. The tacos served in pita bread contained a very poor quality beef with way too much gristle.
Response: We are sorry to hear that you had inconveniences during your stay. We apologize for this, we hope you will give us the opportunity to rectify this situation. and serve you again.

Rwan ElBakry: The hotel welcomed us with some Arabic coffee and tea. I really liked the variety and the options of the Lebanese food. The chef himself came to check on us and introduced himself. A very nice experience.
Response: Dear Rwan Thank you for your comments, we are pleased to see that your experience was pleasant, we hope to see you soon.

Will van Ingen: Food can be good or really good. The service is unhappy. Too bad they just don't smile.
Response: We appreciate your comment, in short, we will work with our team according to your observations, so we also invite you to return and live a new experience with us.

Jan M: Great service; nice presentation
Response: Thank you for your comment, it is your home!

Akeel Jabber - SaaS District: Fantastic authentic Arabic food in Guadalajara and top notch service by all the staff there, especially the Chef. Highly recommend and will be back.
Response: Thanks for your preference

Daniel Glez: Disappointing. I drove 15 min to this restaurant and arrived at 10:40pm. I was told I could only order to go and “maybe”. Because the restaurant was closing.Google says it’s open 24/7
Response: Thank you for your comment, we will review soon

Antonio Barrios: Good sandwich 🥪Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Response: Thank you for your visit, it is a pleasure to serve you.

Tony Victorin: Tacos grill was really good (part of buffet).
Response: Thank you for your preference, it is a pleasure to serve you!

Al Malek: what do users think?

Kambiz Motamedi: Small place but have great Lebanese food. We had their special which comes with samples of almost everything they have. Highly recommend.

Janet M: Mi esposo Roberto y yo were fortunate to be included at a dinner party at a common friends' home over Thanksgiving weekend. That feast BLEW our taste buds out of the water. We look forward to experiencing the restaurant in Guad soon. Muchas gracias a la familia de Malek. 🤗 Vegetarian options: Me gusta mucha. Perdon mi Español.

dafna feine: Super delicious and special food for great prices. Friendly staff and owner. Highly recommended

Kevin Velazquez: If you're looking for the most authentic Arabian/Mediterranean experience at an affordable price. This is the only place to go, period. Everything is on point, from the beverages, to the meals all the way to their desserts. They have absolute mastery of their craft.

gerardo martinez: Food is good higiene is something to desire. I was eating my great Shawarma when I saw the ownwr pick his booguers whule inside the kitchen. I almost threw up and walked out of there. Again the food is good but need to improve kitchen standars.

Jose Antonio: This is a really good place to have some falafel and shawarma that you can not miss if you're around. There is an special Al Malek Dish which contains a Shawarma, Hojas de Parra, Hummus, Jocoque, the special Kepe balls, stuffed Zucchini and a kind of quinoa salad (you an share it). They have a really tasty fruit water, ask for the flavor availability. And also they offer some damn tasty desserts, dessert + Turkish coffee for less than 30 pesos !. My favorite is Pecan and Date Pie. We've paid something around 350 per two persons. It is a really small place, so take your time and be patient, it worth the time you spend waiting for a seat.

Robert Brooks: very tasty! Good menu. Authentic enough for my family.!

Ara Celi: The food and service are amazing, even though the place is small, it is cozy and nice, it could improve the cleanliness but overall is a nice place to have lunch during the week

Vincent Sanchez: Delicious food and fantastic service. High quality, fresh and professional! Highly recommended for people visiting Guadalajara.

Sonaranjo: Outstanding. Price and quality = best Value around.A busy little place with the emphasis on food quality a very well served. Nothing too much trouble and the owner bothers to say hello - despite a fairly frenetic pace. Highly recommend it

Restaurant Beirut: what do users think?

Jagdeep Singh, REALTOR: Had falafel. Good food. Different for a change than the regular Mexican choices.

Robert Cushman: A quintessential Lebanese experience in our neighborhood! A fantastic indoor-outdoor ambiance, generous portions, friendly service, with a distinctive presentation.

Omri Azran: Really nice place, We came for the hooka and we found out the wings there are pretty good! Ordered few dishes of it and hooka for smoking, and some beers aswell. It's a bid sucks that the place closes at 22:00 but beside that... Overall experience very good.

mikka layese: Always never sure what the store hours here are as we've been denied entry a couple of times and customer service isn't particularly great. Shisha was okay, but there's just not a lot of other opions around.

F RS: I was dying for some great lebanese food. The tabouleh was very good, but the rest of my plate was sub-par: the vine leaves, ok; the paste was greasy, not flaky, the garlic sauce, too mild: the humus, bland. I did not obviously finish my plate.

Oswaldo Soriano: Good food, fast service. If you go around mid-day it's relaxing and there's hardly anyone there. I tried a dish that has a little bit of everything, the waiter recommended it. It's not like anything you'll try in GDL. The atmosphere is also very nice!

Marco Tamez: Excellent taste, service and politeness, the food was quickly served, and price is average, the place is slightly small and simple but comfortable and functional. Dessert is amazing! Plenty of parking and ventilation.

Ali Yousef: Amazing shisha and atmosphere. The food is delicious! I have not had anything bad here yet. Try the kufta plate you will not regret it! Will definately come back again

Mariluz Holmes: Great and authentic food plus excellent service. Moderately priced and easy access location.

rene Dewey: Very good food, best in Guadalajara. Very friendly owner, speaks Arabic, Spanish and English . highly recommended. Must try the hookah as well.

Al Meraj Grill & Pak Indian Cuisine: what do users think?

David Aguilar: Lamb biryani was mostly bones, and a little dry. Veggie pakoras was mostly clumps of fried chickpea flour, no vegetables inside. The taste is good but for the price, the meat and veggie portions should be much larger, I paid so much for just rice and chickpea flour. Parking: Street parking, right next to government building, so impossible to find space on weekdays before 4pm.

sumit suman: Authentic Indian food around plaza del sol and most famous Indian food place in the area. Good and close to Indian test has good service and when ever you go to eat Indian food please keep in mind it always take 30-45 min of preparation time so it’s usual that the airing time will be more here. Staff are good and service are fine.

Kyle Garrity: Everything I had here was extremely delicious. Some of the best Indian flavors I’ve ever had. Wish they had some more of the Indian dishes I find in the US but it just meant I had to try something new, and it did not disappoint!

Sujit Nair: A place that I used to visit for some decent Indian food during my trip to mexico. Very simple place but very good food. Though the service was a bit slow. Tried their butter chicken , naan, chicken tikka, samosa. One thing you might notice is unless you ask someone for menu no one will attend you.

Owen W: average food, not very spicy. lot's of bones in chicken and lamb. mango lassi too thick. but this is mexico, far away from India or Pakistan.

Prashant Shekhar: One of the finest Indian Sub-Continental food you will find in Guadalajara. They really know how to enhance the case and the behavior of all they employee is really comforting. The owner is from Pakistan living in Mexico for last 16+ years and is so humble. We have been a regular visitor to this place (once every 10 days minimum), and they had understood our orders and taste. Everytime we had been there, we never came back disappointed. The ambience is very comforting. They have sufficient space for around 25 people to sit and relax. Once you are in GDL, looking for good Indo-pak food, this place is highly recommendable.

Marsia Quiroz: I came to this place due to some Indian coworker recommendation, and it was awesome! Good attention, service and of course the food, different flavors that you have to try. I loved the chicken biryani with palak ghost in special. Also you can chose the level of chili in your dish from 1 to 10, where 7 could be a torta ahogada level.

NAGA MUMMIDIVARAPU: Visted twice, not so good food. Mutton was smelly, may be stored for a longtime. I saw people carrying tons of chicken from Inside out. Not hygiene. Go for only to taste lassi. Indian food tastes good when you have in India. Lesson

La Chata de Guadalajara: what do users think?

Alondra Diaz: If I could give this place 10 stars I would ⭐️ Out of all the restaurants I tried during my stay in Guadalajara this one was the best! Such a great experience with nice waiters and the food was amazing! I’m very picky with food and I just wanted some good pozole before going back home. The line does get long to get in but it moves fast and worth the wait. My boyfriend and I loved it so much that we went back for a second time before heading back to Cali.

K. T.: Nothing really special about this place. I watch how they are cooking and I did not see they have cleaning measure in place. For instance, the folks who is preparing food don't ware gloves. How would I know they cleaned up their hand after going to restroom. Also, I noticed the color of the oil looks strange. I order something I am sure their hands won't touch to make sure I won't get their germs. The line can be crazy long.

Toby Evans: Very good traditional Mexican restaurant with good food and service, the staff are friendly and constantly moving about taking care of guests . The menu has plenty to offer. Family friendly, I returned a couple of times to try different dishes.

N K: Hands down best best restaurant in Guadalajara. There is a reason for this many amazing reviews. The place is incredible. Loved the service but mostly i loved the food . I left this place so happy. I recommend absolutely everything. Pozole was my fav and quesadilla with chicken.

gil schieber: It was a one hour line and told its worth it. It is. I had the skewers -beef, ham, onion; pepper, zuchs perfectly cooked, very tasty; lettuce, rice, avocado, beans in rich fat, cerveza served in a tall cold glass, A large basket of tortillas and plate of salsas, guacamole. The place is large, fast and the employees obviously happy. When 3 or 4 waiters descend to fill the table at once it's pretty impressive. Just now having coffee and cheesecake dessert.

Leo Rodríguez: Just WOW! So many people here on a Sunday morning, and needless to say the line was long but quick. The food has perfect taste in my opinion, at least the chilaquiles in red sauce. The wait for the food was ok, considering how busy they were and the price is very reasonable. If you are in central Guadalajara this should be on your list.

Ciera Mayes: Such amazing authentic food!! Amazing salsas… and best tortillas I’ve had in my life. Rice water, chicken quesadilla, sopes, pozole… there’s a reason it’s so highly rated! Very attentive, friendly staff! Must try.

Noe Esparza: Excellent food, overall. I had the flautas, and a torta ahogada. The torta didn’t lot meet my expectations, but the flautas were great! Good size portions. Wait staff seemed hurried and we’re not engaging at all.

T5X 0H7: I liked it. Place is clean. Staff is kind and funny. Food is good. I missed breakfast. I really wanted to try their breakfast menu. I'll try again later.

John Arce: Traditional Authentic Jalisco Style Restaurant with Full Bar and Great Food in the ❤ of GDL. Great staff. Friendly. Awesome prices. Not to be missed!
