Oscar Marin: For an event that I had, 3 rooms were set aside. I consider the rooms on the ground floor to be good, but the ones that are suites are not really worth it, although they are large, they are poorly distributed and only have air conditioning in the bedroom, which is the only cool area for both living room, bathroom and kitchen the heat is unbearable since these rooms receive more sun, without a doubt the lower cost rooms are better, cleanliness is something that I think is important to highlight that it does not feel completely clean in especially floors as they were clearly dirty, bathrooms and beds were somewhat better
Ana Mateljan: Beautiful place located near Guadalajara's old Town. The rooms are very clean, modern and spacious. The common areas are well kept, old trees provide beautiful shade in the courtyard and the overall atmosphere is amazing.Love this place, stayed for one night in one of the premium rooms and it was wonderful. The room had a small fridge and an electric stove top. The water pressure on the shower was AMAZING and the overall stay was fantastic.The AC is only available in the master bedroom, not central AC.My only problem with them was my security deposit, instead of releasing the "hold" on my card, the front desk attendant charged it to me card. I've spent 3 weeks trying to get the $ returned. It's unfortunate because the stay was truly amazing other than that.Walkability: Avenida Chapultepec and Colonia Americas

Cami Penino: I cannot give my opinion about the facilities since I made a reservation ONE MONTH in advance which was confirmed and when I arrived at the place it turned out that they did not have my reservation. Despite the fact that I gave them the opportunity to somehow resolve this situation, they did not find a way to fix the problem and I had to go find accommodation elsewhere. Terrible service

yuip piuy: I booked a reservation with Atria Hotel, I received a notice that the hotel is full and they are relocating me to their sister property in demetria bungalos.Some red flagsNo response to the email when I asked for clarificationWHen I showed up at demetria bungalos they wanted to charge me a "upgrade fee" from the original listing which they said was non refundable.I had to go thru expedia to get my refund.I came to the conclusion that demetria bungalos puts up fake listings (because Atria hotel dosent exist) and when people reserve - they divert those guests to their Airbnb at demetria bungalos. I would avoid doing business with dishonest businesses.

Dann: They take a $3,000 deposit for any incident, which was ridiculous since it was more than the total cost of the stay. and it is a lie that they have a pool, another is that they advertise as a pet friendly establishment but they do not tell you that they charge you 400 pesos for a small dog and 500 for a cat, they do not have parking in sight so a person takes your car and you have no idea where they park it, I did not feel the least bit comfortable staying in this place and I definitely do not recommend it nor would I return.Another thing. It is a lie that they have a pool. well they lend you one from a hotel that is 2 blocks away on foot hahaha

The door had a 1inch gap which allowed entry for them.We tried to call reception, but the phone did not work. We were told it will be fixed after our stay.Extra blankets and pillows were requested, we received one pillow and were told there were no blankets available.Our Safe was not attached to anything, so a rheif would just have to pick up the light weight box.The shower would only spray water from the head, so filling a bath took almost an hour.No cutlery or plates/bowls were there, it took a couple hours to get serving plates/bowls for 2, which we had to sign out.Ice was not available on our lastnight.We reached out to the host the day after check in and still haven't received a response. I would have gladly have them make any effort to rectify or compensate for all the issues but that wasn't an option.I've stayed at the demetria hotel, and it exceeded expectations, I would not staying at the associated bungalows, service, quality, and customer service is SUP-par.

PROMETEO: Very good place to stay for a few days, breakfast is good, the pool is always warm, good location. Glenn Murray: I was here on a work related visit during June of 2020 at the peak of lockdowns. The motel is nice and clean with friendly staff, situated in the block of the Plaza Del Sol shopping mall within easy walking distance to all types of shopping & grocery stores. Motel staff were helpful and very friendly. Breakfast menu was excellent and would cook many items on demand such as omelets. Enjoyed my stay here and would stay again.

It includes a very simple but rich buffet breakfast. It is Petfriendly and my pet was very comfortable, a very good detail that they gave us a magnet to put on the door where it notifies the waitress that a pet is inside, so that it does not open, in case one goes down for breakfast. The attention of all the staff was very good. It has an outdoor pool and is very well located, next to Plaza del Sol. A great option to stay in Guadalajara with or without pets.

Ryan Manning: This hotel is an example of an amazing initial financial investment and no money invested since that time. I went to this hotel in 2018 and the restaurant and craft cocktail menu was amazing. The artisan retail shop above the restaurant sold unique products from around Mexico.I stayed in the hotel a little over a week ago. It was my "upgrade night" from where I was staying previously, to treat myself. Unfortunately, I should have stayed in the cheaper hotel because the experience was much better. The restaurant has completely lost its charm, which should have been obvious when the staff is just sitting at the bar with no guests.The amazing retail shop is closed but I was allowed to walk through what is now called the "library" which houses some of the old artisan pieces (and many broken ones scattered across the floor) with faded price tags on them.The room, also dated and not maintained with corroded showers, honor bar (not labeled as such - had to call to verify), but most of all. This hotel has fake AC controls. The AC is centrally controlled, so if you enjoy sleeping in the heat then this is the hotel for you. I called the staff to the room to check it and found this out first hand.Even if this hotel was $100usd cheaper a night, I would still not recommend staying here. Much better hotels throughout the city. Some of which are $50-60usd a night.

Nan Niemela: I loved this hotel. They gave me a great room upgrade, and the service from our arrival and the valet parking to checkout was excellent. The food and beverage in the club were very good, delicious breakfast and great coffee. All of the staff in the hotel seemed really, genuinely happy. We also loved the outdoor pool because it is large, was clean, and was never too crowded. This is now my go-to hotel in Guadalajara.

Javier Coronado: Finding cockroaches in both your room and fitness center as horrible. Being lied to and stalled about getting your room was disappointing. We were not provided a room until 1630 on the day of our check-in, after being assured that our room would be ready prior, or at a minimum at the time of check-in. The front desk clerk (female with glasses) keep stalling and pro-longing the check-in-time. Even after staff took picture of the cockroach in our room, nobody stopped by the room, as the hotel said they would. No cleaning agents or yoga mats made available in the fitness room is completely wrong. No chance for anyone to wipe or clean their equipment after each use was terrible. Not to mention having found a cockroach in the fitness center was discussing. Not recommended for stay. The only bring part of this hotel was the amazing breakfast. Well worth it. This IS NOT A HILTON. Does not come close to living to the standards of HILTON HOTEL.

Sequoyah Lewis: My husband and I came to visit the rooftop restaurant (ONLY) and it was the most scenic view that we’ve ever experienced out of all the hotels in Guadalajara! It was such a pleasure to have Gabriel & Andres as a server. They constantly came around to ensure we were well served and always asked how was the service, food quality, and opportunities for improvement! We’re excited to come back and enjoy the beautiful views and would love to have Gabriel & Andres as a server again, we laughed a lot!

Edwin Cardenas: I stayed at this JW for about 2 months for work and it was just a great experience. Monica and Connie at the reception make me feel like home, always treating me with a friendly smile and respect. The guys at the valet also provided an exceptional service. The room was always clean with all the amenities a guess needs including plenty of bottles of water. Luz was very friendly and maintained my room sparkling clean (Thank you, Luz). The guys at the executive lounge were very friendly and ready to help you when asked (thank you Jose, Hector, Mayra, etc.). The only issue I had, and that's something I let everyone know, is the mini fridge in the room does not cool, it is just a storing box connected to the wall. If you are facing west in the afternoon, your room will be super hot by 6:00 PM. The only option you have is head out to the Oxxo next door and get bottles of cool water because those in the room are room temperature. This is something management has to address because long stay customers like to store items and a non-working fridge is not much of a help.Overall experience is great. I enjoyed everyday I stayed at this property and I will do again when I return to Guadalajara.

They constantly control (turn on/off) the A/C in the room, and GUESTS CAN NOT CONTROL THE A/C!West Facing Suites/Rooms are blazing hot in the afternoon.A/C shuts off in the middle of the night, woke up sweating all 6 nights. Shower had a large loud knocking noise, room had two air conditioner controls, but one was controlled by the other one, not allowing us to lower the temperature in the room in the bedroom at night. But Marriott never fails to do a great job at the stripping away guest benefits and providing a subpar product. Marriott's continue to cut corners & quality. I'd rather stay at a budget hotel than an overpriced hotel with no A/C. IHG 1974 is a great choice, along with Hilton Midtown (also connected to Midtown Shopping Center).

John Rounds: Uno de los mejores hoteles en mi lista de la cadena que me quedé y no son pocos los que conozco, quizás la infraestructura es de un JW pero el servicio es más que cualquier otro hotel en la cadena, Mónica de recepción Alex del salón ejecutivo Christian de concierge Jazmin y Alfonso de restaurantes, ellos representan el mejor servicio de lujo.

When I got to the reception they told me that they were full "for a congress" I have been waiting since then and no one can answer me. That if the charge already reflected from minute one.TERRIBLE SERVICE and by making them see their mistakes they still put themselves in a dignified and haughty role.In addition, my reservation was a surprise and the receptionist almost shouted the price when it was a surprise. 🙄🤦🏻♂️All the "super experience" of the hotel that they boast in their marketing is a resounding failure, we don't even talk about the better treatment of the staff.

Rosa Mendoza Lupercio: We are sick of the fucking noise from the terrace, they do not meet the noise standard that it should have and until 3 am. It is very high and they do not let many homes next to each other sleep, which we are going to have to put letters into the matter because it is the only one around, very high, their same clients will be deaf!

Didn’t learn this until after check in. Couldn’t sleep a wink.Also there were no wellness or social activities as advertised on the website.The coworking space was empty the 2 days I was there. Likely because of the loud music every night.The hotel itself was empty.I had no choice but to check out early. Requested a refund but haven’t heard back.Selina if you’re reading this, I’m not going away. Do the right thing and refund my money.

Woke: Charming hotel at a good price. Amazing location, too.There is a very, very popular bar that is fairly loud if you’re on floor six or seven on the weekends. If you’re a light sleeper request a room on a lower level. It’s a great bar and if you’d like to check it out you can skip the lines. Don’t let the lines alarm you when entering the building. If you enter on the opposite entrance you just have to show your room badge and they will let you pass.I just wanted to mention the above as a previous comment had complained about it. Personally, I thought the bar was a great bonus.
Luis Pena: The biggest complaint I have about this was the lack of effort in cleaning the rooms. There was dust on many of the rooms surfaces. The bathroom could have been cleaner, the shower handle fell off when i tried to turn it on. The picture frames on the wall weren't hung correctly and for someone with OCD it really bugged me to not be able to fix it.Nearby activities: Bars all over the area that you are able to walk to.Walkability: Its in a very good part of the city were there is a park with multiple things to do and see.
