Juanacatlán Falls: what do users think?

José E. Stolishnaya: They are a danger due to the high rate of toxic pollutants that, thanks to large companies, destroyed this beautiful waterfall.

TLACIQUE VARACOLACI: Do not invent, it stinks horrible, I don't even know how you put them as an attraction. 😖🤢🤮

Waterfall Huentitán: what do users think?

Dan Klonowski: Smells terrible. I think this is just runoff from the city.

marco tornero: Nice scenery

Fredh Rueda: Spectacular place! 30 kms from Tesistán (from the crossing to Colotlán), the road is in good condition. I went two weeks ago and everything is already green, which makes the Canon look more majestic. From the viewpoint you can see a waterfall (which I was later told is temporary because you only see it during the rainy season). Wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes to be able to walk to the waterfalls. Admission cost us $50.00. There is a place to park and they do not charge. Great place to walk, enjoy the views and share time with friends or family.

Ramiro Ramírez: Hot spring water a bit difficult to access but very nice

Luis Eduardo Ibarra Robles: It is a very good natural area for recreation and exercise in the open air, however it makes me very sad that the river was polluted years ago before the archdeacon project in the river one could take a dip, on the other hand yes I agree that The second version of the archdeacon's bridge turned out very well, except that the original bridge and the people around it gave it that warmth of an old town, said sensation is no longer perceptible, and it was also located a little further away, one of the things If I was surprised, the new road was excellent. It is quite a challenge to travel there except that it is very careless, the grass invades 70% of the road and it is very uncomfortable. I hope and my vast review in my personal experience will be of great help to you.

MAIKY516: Although in spite of being a cascade of wastewater, it looks beautiful, I do not deny it, a little forgotten and already finished by us visitors, very few people today have the due respect

Ruben Palomera: It is the most beautiful and beautiful healthy and pleasant to do sports in the Huentitan canyon GDL Jalisco

Eduardo Rivera: Huentitan canyon has many beautiful places and unique landscapes

Edgar Daniel Gutiérrez Ortiz: Very nice everything related to the canyon.

jose alfredo zaragoza: Until 8 days ago I descended it was dry without water still without a doubt It is a good place to jump from stone to stone

Waterfalls San Lorenzo. (Zapopan): what do users think?

Bernabe Alvarez: Awesome place tbh great place to go away from the ugly city and relax, have fun simply enjoy. Be careful, lots of rocks to climb. He prepared and take lots of water. The road to the cascade is totally worth it. Don't get lost just follow the water stream and you'll get the re.

G4m3r_Alex Olvera: It is a beautiful place, but very difficult to get to, it is easy to get lost and if someone who has already gone does not take you, you will not arrive and you end up in the mountains alone and afraid, it is difficult to arrive and even more with things to eat, I had an accident on a motorcycle since the grass covered a tremendous sinkhole and my motorcycle entered fully. You leave the vehicles in a flat place and walk a normal path until there, the thing is that then you have to walk between stones of the mountain and water, then climb giant stones until you reach the waterfall, I went with my chihuhua error. If you are an adventurer, this trip is for you and you will never forget it. If you like more comfortable experiences, look for another option. And being from outside they take wool from you, there are no quota signs for anything since it really is not a suitable place for tourists who do not know the area and they took 100 pesos from us, it is not the cost it is the action since the clocatarios who The guide said that there is no charge there since it is not the tourist area like another waterfall further up, but we no longer wanted to cough it up. Leaving aside how incredibly tiring and complicated it was to arrive, I loved the experience and the place woooooooow, only if I would go without a pet, without additional things, suitable tennis shoes and the motorcycle, I know what better because of the little shore hahaha.

Rafael Guizar Perez: Friends, be very careful when we were in the main dam, three stones fell 60 cm from us that someone made fall from the upper part of the canyon, they made a huge roar and we were very scared, if they had hit us without a doubt the consequences would have been dire . Do not swim or stay near the shores of the lake, stay away from the walls. - don't leave trash please - We came in February and the water was very low, but tolerable. I highly recommend the walk but please be respectful of nature, of other people.

Karen Alvarado: To get to the waterfall by car it is relatively close and from there the walk begins for half an hour because in some parts you need to go slowly, not because it is far, honestly it is not a place to take children or babies since the waterfall is surrounded by stones and the water is very cold. It is very worth going and, like in all places, be aware and take your garbage with you. It is important to wear comfortable tennis shoes!!

Melvin Moreno: Very father the place! Quite an adventure! I went with my wife and brother-in-law and we had a great time. The water is very cold in the waterfall but after you get used to it it's super good. The local people are very friendly. The road is interesting and quite rocky, you have to be careful but very very cool.

DULCE BELMONTE: The road to get there is a bit heavy, it's like 800 meters of walking, going up and down, they charge 50 pesos per person for access. Good experience

Hiram Padilla Martinez: Very nice waterfalls in rainy weather. It is worth the ups and downs of the road for the view that there is with a lot of vegetation

Erika Herrera: Beautiful place of nature, where the sound of water transmits you peace 💐 Cascadas de San Lorenzo

Monse Del rio: The landscape was simply beautiful. We were touched by a dog named pituca, who took us as a guide to the Waterfall

Jose Perez Torres: A beautiful experience, thanks to the person who took us to meet, it was a long way to reach the waterfall, but it was worth getting to it on the way very beautiful landscapes aqueducts made by people to take to the town, although it is worth mentioning that I felt a bit of phobia being among the rocks and being in June when I visited, the fear of rain did not let me be calm 😁 that day there was a bit of a breeze falling, a year ago, it would be good to visit those places again greetings .

Thoors World: Very nice hike into the canyon . I went down in April.. we had around 35 degrees so it was quite hard. But there are some stands which are selling water and other stuff.. one thing you should do in Guadalajara..

Michael Herrera: If you love nature this is the place. Beautiful views and very safe. The national guard patrols every path.

Alina Conde: Trail is quite easy. We walked with kids to the waterfall and back, it took less than 1,5 h.

Ho Wai Kei: It is a nice place to enjoy the scenery if you don’t wanna walk a lot.The trail is short and you can enjoy the best scenery in the start

Christopher Budz: Very lush in July with gorgeous views. It’s easy to get to—it’s located just on the edge of Guadalajara. The path down can be a bit steep in places and is mostly quite uneven cobblestone, so wear supportive footwear & tread carefully!

Eva Garcia: Horrible place. The food outside the park made me sick. Restrooms in the park were closed stating lack of water but site across the street had water, place was nasty and you had to use a bucket to flush a toilet. Didn’t try the walk, unwelcoming

Luis Alonso Salazar Cruz: Very nice place to go for a hike, great views of the nature, but it's not safe to go late

J M: I live here but the view always continues to amaze me.

Juan Carlos Flores: It was a great walk!!!!! So green and beautiful I recommend to anyone who visits Guadalajara.

Lenita: Good place to go for a walk but we must have went during the dry season because it looked nothing like the pictures online

Monica Martinez: Beautiful forest. It was nice listening to the birds chirping and the squirrels being so playful. I'm glad we got to see the Japanese garden. It was small and well maintained. Seeing the coy fish swimming around and the ducks relaxing on the grass was so serene.

Engel B: Nice tiny Japanese garden with many 🐢 , squirrels 🐿 and huge golden fish 🐟 . Actually, squirrels are everywhere in the park, though. You could do a horseback ride as well.Definitely worthy to visit

Kristy Hayes: This place is beautiful. The Japanese garden isn't very big but still gorgeous! There are tons of beautiful fish and turtles in the pond. It's peaceful and wonderful to walk through.

Toby Evans: A lovely location to take a break from the hustle and bussle of Guadalajara, with quite a lot of wildlife, fish, turtles and squirrels. The Japanese garden was also a great location to visit.

Bruce D: Very nice Parque with many interesting paths, a nice Japanese garden, and terrific variety of trees, plants, and birds. Very tranquil setting in the middle of the city.

Pierre Champigny: A huge park which is great for going to walk, take a run or birdwatch. There are many spots to exercise, nice cement trails for running/walking and also many benches to rest. There are washrooms and cafeteria. Highly recommended.

H W: Beautiful park filled with exotic chickens, cats, friendly squirrels and many other cute little animals. Great for a long walk.

Estelle Langebein: Lovely parc and forest, just the squirrels and pigeons are numerous by the food stands but it's worth to see it and have a walk, the Japanese garden is super cute.

Evan Peet: Beautiful and very large area of nature in the midst of a city. The quiet, fresh air, and gentle sounds of nature here are so relaxing. The Japanese garden is the best part of the whole place. Absolutely stunning and so picturesque. Not to mention it has so many friendly squirrels running through it, as well as fish, turtles, and some birds to watch and enjoy. The cactus garden isn't well developed at all. It is just a few cacti growing pretty much wildly. Plenty of trails throughout the park to walk through. There are a few picnic table areas too but overall the park is lacking benches throughout to sit on along the trails. There is only a concentration of benches in a few of the more popular areas. Either way, the beautiful and grand trees and green landscape and ability to enjoy nature right in the city make this place so valuable and appreciated. Will definitely be back!!!

Preeti Gupta: Great place to spend day time with family and friends. Good for jogging, walking, meditating and even for picnic. There is so much do and to see in the park. There is no entry fee for the park and plenty of car parking space is available. The park is well maintained and managed and you can spend one whole day in that park and enjoy the nature and scenery.

Mike Maldonado: Beautiful park. Lots of things to do. Butterfly garden, aviary, paleontology museum, macaw garden, statues, a small lake, playgrounds, a orchid garden, etc.

Valeria Aceves: Go on Saturday from 10am to 2pm for a locals market that offers a variety of products from collectors to handmade art. A fun spot to shop around or just to hang out as they also have local vendors with great snacks and foods.

Frankie MacGregor: It's a beautiful spot with so many tall trees providing shade. The playground is in quite a state of disrepair; it was unsafe for the kiddos. Both the butterfly pavilion and the aviary were closed.

Isabel Torres: Great for a walk among beautiful trees. Got to see some tropical birds. Unfortunately the pond was dirty and needs some work but still has charm

Preeti Gupta: Great place to go for a walk on Sunday’s with friends. The place is beautiful and green. They have aviary but because of pandemic it was closed. They have picnic tables all over the place. Playground for kids. Perfect place for picnic and relaxing. The park is well managed and maintained.

Alina Conde: Shady park with a lot of big trees. There are a playground for kids and nice pond with fishes.

K. T.: Nice and quiet park to relax and listen to the birds.

LDG. Brigete García: Great place to walk, be with the family a Sunday having a picnic in the park, meeting the birds zone, the butterflies zone and the paleontology museum. The guides are very gently and the tours are completely free. You have an extensive area to lay in the ground. The kids can play and they have some areas specific to them, the playground.

Mayur Sarapdadiya: Nice place Very peaceful Not very crowded Birds show is there but closed for now

ruben osuna: Dammmmmmmm this park is so big and beutiful , only had 2 hours to kill before my flight and my friend brought us here and its jist a definitely must see

Cascada De Huaxtla: what do users think?

Dan Klonowski: Really well managed.Entry price cost $50 pesos per person. That includes entry and parking. They also have bathrooms, life jacket rentals, and good for sale. The waterfalls are really nice. Swimming is great.

Sebastian: Affordable entry at 50 pesos per person. Amazing views and nice waterfalls (3 large waterfalls in total). The hike to the 1st waterfall isn't too bad but you should wear tennis shoes. If you aren't use to walking trails up and down hill you may find this difficult. The hike to the 2nd and 3rd waterfalls is much more difficult and requires using ropes to get down rockfaces. It is a tad bit on the dangerous / adventurous side so only preceed if you feel comfortable climbing down trails next to steep drop offs and scaling rocks.

Jenifer Perez: Beautiful hike, it’s a must go and it’s not that tough of a hike. There are actually a couple of waterfalls and you can find some cool little surprises along the way. Don’t forget to bring a towel, bathing suit, water, snacks, and to put on some sunscreen!

Patryk Karpiński: Excellent place. Hiking around it’s been a bit of challenge but definitely worth

sumit suman: So basically at the entry you have the free parking but the entrance cost 50 pesos. It is a walk of 30-45 to reach to the cascada and it’s beautiful. There are small and big 7 cascadas on the way. 2 of them are nice and you can swim. They are dip and has places to jump from different height. It’s a very good hike and swim combination. You need to carry sufficient about of water and electrolytes as there is no store or any thing nears to the cascada. Pets are allowed to go.

Tomas Cortes: It’s nice but I went during the summer which is rain season here so if you go go when it’s not rain season and the water will be crystalVisited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …More

Jorge Espinosa: El camino es complicado para los principiantes, el GPS da instrucciones incorrectas y solo pude llegar gracias a la gente que encontré al llegar al pueblo The hike is not easy for beginners so you better be ready to take some breaks on the way up. The signs say It's only available for public during weekends but there is no lock or anything to keep people from coming in. GPS gives incorrect instructions, locals are your best guide as everything is poorly signalized

sergio rodriguez: Loved this place, 50 pesos fee and 50 mins walking from parking lot.

Mariano Alejandro Macias Vazquez: Huaxtla Is beautiful, the path is kind of challenging, but it's part of the adventure, in addition you have amazing landscapes. You won't regret it, even if you're a beginner 👌 Water is refreshing XD Definitely recommended

Connor Egan: Nice waterfall and the hike was more challenging than I expected, great day trip!

Kelvin Wolken: The hike is amazing, I almost got lost and encountered a bull on the way down. I never found the place with view but loved the experience 😅

Charles Nemeth: A web of hiking trails along the North side of Lake Chapala offers a whole range of excursions from 1 to 8hoirs to multiple days, for beginners to advanced hikers. Beautiful views of the lake and the mountains on the South side, all the way to the top of Colima volcano.

yz250brett: Pretty cool moderate hike. It has some great views, but there was NO water flowing at the end of November so if you're looking for water falls of which there are a couple areas for this, beware.

Kai Griebenow: Extremly nice hiking trails!

JC: Great spot for a hike …. Great views

chayo28: Amazing place, mountains, hikes, thermal water, amazing vistas, lovely town San Juan cosala !

JP: I feel really sad that the access to this amazing place is getting everyday more and more limited due to all the new and old gated communities, everyone is building high fences or walls. Still, if you manage to get in don't forget to look for the waterfalls and the sport rock climbing wall, is not much but it guarantees a few hours of fun, bring sunscreen, water, snacks and a bathing suit for the ponds, remember to be aware of small scorpions.

Lea Covington Rowen: Great hike when the waterfalls are flowing.

Lee Johnson: Many trails and trailheads and many more marked trails than generally recognized. Some nice views and you can go many miles on the various trails. There can be trash in places so take a trash bag, pick some up, and make it a little better for the next person.

Antonio Rodriguez: Impressive, such a beautiful place. It's not an easy hike to make it up there, but it's all well-worthed. I will definitely go back again!!!
