ARTURO ALFARO: El desayuno cuesta 689pesos y pues la verdad está 8/10 nada espectacular. Osea bueno, rico, más o menos variado. Pero no vale los que te cobran.El café fue de lo más decepcionante.La comida estaba tibia y platillos como el menudo, dejaban mucho a desear.Ambiente y atención de 10. Pero si esperaba mayor calidad en la barra fría y en general en el tipo de bebidas que ofrecen, muy pero muy básicas.

Veanette Hanson: My husband and I stayed here for our couple's getaway. We absolutely loved the property. The pool was beautiful and the staff was so friendly. Everyone made us feel extremely welcome. The rooms were gorgeous but it did look like some of the furniture needed a little more upkeep. The hotel is also not centrally located so we did have to Uber almost everywhere we went. If you plan on spending a lot of time at the hotel and relaxing, I highly recommend. Also, the food was delicious but it was pricey. My husband and I found a great hot dog stand nearby (Hot dogs Don Moy) to give us a break from the hotel dinners.

Ryan Manning: This hotel is an example of an amazing initial financial investment and no money invested since that time. I went to this hotel in 2018 and the restaurant and craft cocktail menu was amazing. The artisan retail shop above the restaurant sold unique products from around Mexico.I stayed in the hotel a little over a week ago. It was my "upgrade night" from where I was staying previously, to treat myself. Unfortunately, I should have stayed in the cheaper hotel because the experience was much better. The restaurant has completely lost its charm, which should have been obvious when the staff is just sitting at the bar with no guests.The amazing retail shop is closed but I was allowed to walk through what is now called the "library" which houses some of the old artisan pieces (and many broken ones scattered across the floor) with faded price tags on them.The room, also dated and not maintained with corroded showers, honor bar (not labeled as such - had to call to verify), but most of all. This hotel has fake AC controls. The AC is centrally controlled, so if you enjoy sleeping in the heat then this is the hotel for you. I called the staff to the room to check it and found this out first hand.Even if this hotel was $100usd cheaper a night, I would still not recommend staying here. Much better hotels throughout the city. Some of which are $50-60usd a night.

Avanti Plaza: My wife and I arrived from a long trip and my wife was not feeling well and needed to use the room but the front desk said at 1:00 pm that there were no rooms clean out of the 130 rooms there was not one ready even though we saw al lot of ppl checking out, we were treated poorly, our reservation was pre-paid by american express so as my wife was feeling so sick and could not fing one clean room out of the 130 rooms we asked if they can cancell our reservation but they also said no refund will be given, again we were treated poorly and they have no Customer Service at all, sadly we come to guadalajara weeky and we just wanted to try a different hotel.We will not come back!
Jose Carbone: THE BEST Hotel in Guadalajara. Price ratio with what it offers is exceptional. 10 out of 10 I stay here again! I hope they maintain that attention, fair prices, that cleanliness and quality! The rooms have excellent views, bathrooms with great space and even a TV, the shower is literally like a waterfall. Upon entering the hotel they offer you Cafe Arabe. Exquisite Mediterranean restaurant and finally it is in a good location surrounded by good restaurants.

The restaurant had delicious breakfast and dinner courses. Good restaurants within walking distance. There is a food truck across the street that makes amazing breakfast.
Will Chan: Starting with the positive - the hotel is perfectly located. There are many many many amazing restaurants, bars and cafes nearby in a very cool (but still very friendly), pretty and safe neighbourhood.Then with the negatives - this hotel had so much potential but was severely let down by the service and maintenance issues.In terms of service, it appeared none of the staff have been professionally trained and were particularly interested in their jobs. The receptionists were cold and not particularly helpful - they didn't bother to tell us about the spa and the gym until we discovered them ourselves. Restaurant / breakfast staff were nicer but did not know some basic things like setting up the table for breakfast when guests sat down - it's very much help yourself which was very unusual for this kind of hotel.Then onto the rooms and the hotel itself, it is super photogenic everywhere but lacks ambience. The bars were empty almost every night during our stay. The pool looked amazing in the pictures but the water was very murky when we were there so we did not bother.The room itself was OK, but water was leaking out from the shower into the hallway (due to gaps in the shower screen). A/c barely worked. There was one chair inside and one chair outside on the terrace - why!? There were also no tea / coffee making facilities inside the room.Overall, we felt like the hotel could have been so much better if they had friendlier and more professional staff, and cut less corners (i.e. more furniture in the room, some candles, cushions in the bars to create more ambience).
