Goa Restaurant: what do users think?

Rajneesh Singh: The food I ordered via Uber eats was not good. There was more salt in 2 of the curries. Paratha ha little or no stuffing. I ate 4 times at this restaurant and food was good only once. I would not recommend this to anyone. You get free rice and raita but that does not save the taste. It fails to satisfy my taste pallets for Indian food. Try at your own risk and luck.

Monesh Asswani: We ordered Butter Chicken, Mutton Biryani, Tandoori Chicken, Naan and Gajar ka Halwa. Butter chicken didn't taste like butter chicken, it had very strong flavor of ketchup and the chicken pieces tasted like preserved canned chicken, it had no flavor. Tandoori chicken was not bad. Mutton Biryani tasted good but meat portion was very little, it had only 4 pieces. Gajar ka halwa looked weird but the taste was very good. Attitude of waiter(old guy) was ok towards us but we saw him being rude to one Delivery pick up guy who came in front of us, Delivery guy was telling him the right way to pack take away which totally made sense to us but the waiter was stubborn and he walked away telling Delivery guy "Do it by yourself". Atmosphere is dark and not at all energetic, Music played was very old and kind of sad but perfect for heartbroken person.

San Francisco: This was the second Indian restaurant I tried in Guadalajara and I'm glad I did. The chef is Indian and the food has authentic taste in it. I had Bhuna Gohst (meat) with Naan which was very tasty. Also the Indian Chai was very good. The place is on a side street very close to Chapultepec avenue. I recommend this place for Indian cuisine in GDL.
Response: 🙏🏻

Scotty McIntyre: This place is a MUST! The spicy mushrooms were outrageous this world! We had the Rojan Josh with lamb, Butter Chicken & 2 others that were great! Awesome service & great location.

Rohini Sudhakar: Worst food i’ve ever eaten. The paneer mutter was super salty, the dal makni was bitter and the aloo parath omg it was like a pizza base cooled and given no stuffing and very very bad as it was prepared with maidha. The rice which was given with the curry was called basmati rice and clearly you can see its a mexican rice. Half boiled thank god i didnt feed this food to my little one. EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK. When you cant cook proper indian food why on earth do you call it indian not indian spices at all.

Mummidivarapu Nagaraju: Please don’t go. In Guadalajara no Indian restaurant is good. I ordered lamb Biryani, they gave me some mixed rice. Understand that eat Mexican food in Mexico, Indian food in India.

Mike Pulsifer: The dishes are amazing, spicy or mild , feel good food . The staff and the chef are super into making sure your dining experience is superb. Garlic naan is delicious 300 peso’s and with cold beer

Vijayanand kamaraj: 2 Samosas for 105MXN😳 Not worth. Very average taste. Biryani Quantity is very less.Service gesture alone is good. The supplier talks too much for tips. Please improve the food quality. Your employees will automatically get if your food deserves it.
Response: Thank you for your Feedback ! Thank you for not giving a cent (Tip) anyway . In Mexico Employees work on Tips that’s why waiter asked you for the Tip and I am sure he didn’t force you for the Tip . Have a good day

Rich Tanksley: I really wanted to like this place because I love Indian food, but I have to agree with the negative reviews. Just won't solve your craving for Indian food. The food is not bad, it's just not Indian food. We had Chicken Tika Masala and Paneer Beef and honestly my wife and I could not tell the difference between the two dishes. Service was good, the deck is great for people-watching. I think the chef needs to get an Indian cookbook and go back to the basics of how the flavors should be for each dish.

Ali Crain: The naan was good. I got the Tikka Masala Paneer. It definitely has a Mexican twist to it with big chunks of onions and peppers. I’m not an onion fan so not appealing to me. And I felt like a little more sauce was needed. Overall a decent meal and I’ll be back. Everyone was very kind and helpful.

Al Meraj Grill & Pak Indian Cuisine Providencia: what do users think?

Nagarjuna K: Good experience at Indian style restaurant, we must try Indian dishes. Today we had Staters: Chicken Tikka, Veg Pakoda, Tandoori Other items: Butter naan's with Chicken Curry, Butter masala and Mutter Paneer masala In that I liked Chicken Tikka, Veg Pakoda, Chicken Curry you must try it And Mango lassi also you must try.

Laurie Ebo: Al Meraj is an open air restaurant with plenty of seating. The food was delicious and fresh. I had the samosas, a lental dish, a mixed vegetable dish and a lemon mineral drink. The food was very tasty and made to your level of spiciness. I will definitely visit Al Meraj again.

Aldo Anoveros: This is a great place and I have always enjoyed their food for several years now. However I believe that as the place grows customer service should be a priority - the restaurant layout doesn't help the staff to maintain attention to all tables at the same time. It would be helpful to hire additional staff, or maybe improving the staff management so they are more effective between order taking, and serving the food.

sumit suman: Most authentic food in Guadalajara. My fav is chicken acharati, mutton handi. Mutton paneer achari. Gulab jamun are good in size . Overall it’s a genuine price and good test food place. Highly recommended at first place for Indian food.

vishal chaturvedi: Overall the restaurant lacks food and service quality. Food -2/5 Portion - 3/5 Ambience 3/5 service 2/5

Jan M: Tasty food; great mutton curry, very fresh large naan, whole jeera (cumin) rice. Thanks

Lori L'Heureux: Excellent flavors and service. The portions are a little small so we ordered extra rice, naan and paratha.

Art Magana: It was ok. Super spicy though. I was hoping for more of the flavors I enjoyed at N.Y. Indian food restaurants. It wasn't.Food: 3/5 | Service: 4/5 | Atmosphere: 3/5 …More

Sirra Anderson Crum: My husband and I came here for lunch and wow, so good! We got the chicken tikka masala and the butter chicken. Both were very delicious! We also got the mineral lemonades. I highly recommend this place.

Tristin Crum: Phenomenal service, extremely friendly owner, great food. We got the Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala with rice and naan and everything was great. It was a different flavor profile than my wife and I were used to but not in a bad way, the food was phenomenal, we’d absolutely return and you won’t be disappointed

Javier Barraza: Food was average..Dont ever order Biryani not worthy to have boiled rice with curcuma I guess wrong recipe passed to chef by Owner !!overall only one time visit resrurant..Sad but thats the truth
Response: SORRY

Anwar: This is nice little place to get some authentic Indian food.it was nice and quiet, beautiful inside and comfortable too.there is tv with Indian pop music and Bollywood videos.the food is terrific,I loved the rice!!I will be coming back.the host was nice and speaks English and spanish.

Jan M: Great ambience; good menu; great service and very friendly owner. Food was ok. Nice atmosphere and good prices. Great naan bread and Raita
Response: THANKS

sudhakar T: Don't judge a book by it's cover. The photo looks good, but it is not Indian briyani.Rice + meat + dry masala = briyani. This is what I received when I went there.
Response: SORRY

Sumit Kumar: I was last week there and left my comments to chef for food,Chicken was good but Biryani not sure what was it..no taste no fragnence nothing like Biryani at all..not sure what that rice suppose to be called, If you are chargeing please make sure what you are serving, in short worst so called Biryani of my life!!

yuip piuy: Had Saag Panner + Naan. Nothing really to write home about. The naan reminded me of premade naan sold at stores. The saag lacked the complex flavors found in indian food. Overall not a authentic representation of indian cusine.
Response: SORRY

Jose Ivan Martes Martinez: A bit over-priced for portion sizes. I would say that taste-wise I would say this is a below average Indian restaurant. The atmosphere of the place feels really old/antique. They tried to decorate it with Indian furniture but there is not one bit on contemporary taste in that place.
Response: SORRY. AND HAPPY DAY

Aakaash Gollapudi: Tasteless food, no flavour, exorbitantly priced, tiny quantity. Never visit this place. Not even 1 dish is good or worth it.

Sridhar Bhavani: Another disappointment...seriously Guadalajara has poor Indian restaurants...its unfortunately cooked by Mexicans even though appreciate their efforts they don't know the complexity or flavors nor ingredients they look awful yet one can eat somehow if ur hungry and visiting...pls. don't spoil the name of Indian food ...attached are pics of biryani, chicken tikka masala and dal tadka..biryani with Mexican rice seriously for the price you charge buy basmati rice ...home food is 1000 times better restaurants are utterly disappointing..2* is for the mango kulfi which was 👌
Response: Sorry

Ali Crain: Cute little restaurant with delicious food and nice staff. The naan was especially good.
Response: Thank's 🤗🤗🤗🤗

David Aguilar: Lamb biryani was mostly bones, and a little dry. Veggie pakoras was mostly clumps of fried chickpea flour, no vegetables inside. The taste is good but for the price, the meat and veggie portions should be much larger, I paid so much for just rice and chickpea flour. Parking: Street parking, right next to government building, so impossible to find space on weekdays before 4pm.

sumit suman: Authentic Indian food around plaza del sol and most famous Indian food place in the area. Good and close to Indian test has good service and when ever you go to eat Indian food please keep in mind it always take 30-45 min of preparation time so it’s usual that the airing time will be more here. Staff are good and service are fine.

Kyle Garrity: Everything I had here was extremely delicious. Some of the best Indian flavors I’ve ever had. Wish they had some more of the Indian dishes I find in the US but it just meant I had to try something new, and it did not disappoint!

Sujit Nair: A place that I used to visit for some decent Indian food during my trip to mexico. Very simple place but very good food. Though the service was a bit slow. Tried their butter chicken , naan, chicken tikka, samosa. One thing you might notice is unless you ask someone for menu no one will attend you.

Owen W: average food, not very spicy. lot's of bones in chicken and lamb. mango lassi too thick. but this is mexico, far away from India or Pakistan.

Prashant Shekhar: One of the finest Indian Sub-Continental food you will find in Guadalajara. They really know how to enhance the case and the behavior of all they employee is really comforting. The owner is from Pakistan living in Mexico for last 16+ years and is so humble. We have been a regular visitor to this place (once every 10 days minimum), and they had understood our orders and taste. Everytime we had been there, we never came back disappointed. The ambience is very comforting. They have sufficient space for around 25 people to sit and relax. Once you are in GDL, looking for good Indo-pak food, this place is highly recommendable.

Marsia Quiroz: I came to this place due to some Indian coworker recommendation, and it was awesome! Good attention, service and of course the food, different flavors that you have to try. I loved the chicken biryani with palak ghost in special. Also you can chose the level of chili in your dish from 1 to 10, where 7 could be a torta ahogada level.

NAGA MUMMIDIVARAPU: Visted twice, not so good food. Mutton was smelly, may be stored for a longtime. I saw people carrying tons of chicken from Inside out. Not hygiene. Go for only to taste lassi. Indian food tastes good when you have in India. Lesson

Rinu Manoj: Chicken biryani: 7/10Please be ready with your translator as the people at your service do not speak English.Food: 4/5 | Service: 4/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Chicken Biryani …More

arushee awasthi: The food was ok (had much better) but waitress had no hospitality and was arrogantRecommended dishes Lamb Curry, Tandoori Chicken …More

Sumit Kumar: Really nice food..finally can say its easy to find real taste of Indan food in Guadalajara!!Food: 5/5 | Service: 4/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Sankar Thiagarajan: The service was really bad. Ordered 2 garlic Naans and 1 butter Naan they ran out of Naan and gave us 1 and 1. They didn't even serve water until we asked for it. I give them 3 stars only for the taste of the food.

amulya sharma: It's not a place it's a heaven for Indian people in Guadalajara. You eat there or take away. Food price is cheapest compared to other Indian restaurants. And at the same time Food taste Portion and quality is the best. Sorry guys my plate in the picture is empty because I forgot to take picture before eating in Excitement of how good food was. Hahaha. Enjoy. Hope my review helps you

Lakshmi Indian Store: what do users think?

Rinu Manoj: The only indian store in Zapopan. If you're new to GDL you'll probably end up buying indian grocery items from here. They do not have a home delivery service yet. The owner is friendly. Rates are pretty high for snacks, cannot be compared to indian rates but rice and atta is almost the same as any other indian store in Mexico.

John Sree: Price is more costlier for Indian foods but it is the only Indian store to get spices in Guadalajara or Zapopan…. Owner or person attitude sometimes irritates customers.. we have to deal with him carefully..
Response: I dont know who is this person and I think this person never visited our store. A person who want business will never behaves ODD. Perhaps this person is not my regular customer and Seems this person want to give bad reputation like this mentioning negatively. Sad to see these kind of Odd Comments.

Preeti Gupta: The owner of the store is Stupid and rude. He mentioned to me in the message that the store is going to open at 6 pm and when I went it was not open and when I called he said it’s 7 pm and disconnected my call. So unprofessional behavior and rude behavior. When he came and I asked him politely at what time it opens he started shouting on me saying you’re Rashmi’s customer and if you want stuff take it otherwise leave. Well thanks to him he suggested me Rashmi’s name next time I’m not going to his store for sure. Because of his monopoly ( only Indian store in GDL) he’s behaving like this and the prices also are too high. I will not recommend people to go to this store at all. Instead you can search for other options based in Mexico City and yes, they deliver all over Mexico.
Response: Thanks for your Comments of expressing me as STUPID Ms Preeti Gupta. You are creating everything. Congratulations. I am really OFFENDED. Since 2014, no one expressed like this. A persons character reflects from the Education received from the teachers and the Parents. Majority of the customers are appreciating my Service and our store. I think you want to Promote other VENDOR with some kind of Partiality. Hence you are giving bad publicity like this. Ok Ms. Its left to you. Thank you.

Mahesh Subbarao: This store is always closed. Came here at 6:30 pm twice and it's never open. The inside looks like a dump

naveenkumar gopal: All required basic indian groceries Available with quality and delivering the required items on request. Good Service to see in Guadalajara 👍

VENKATA VAMSI KRISHNA GURRAM: Buying indian groceries from this store for almost 6 years.Reasonable prices with best customer service.I never regretted with his service.I strongly recommend this store.

Moeen Ahmed: Excellent store. Kind owner behaviour,Most of the essential items are available for Indians, we can buy from here.

moninder kaur: Personally didn't like the store. Firstly it is very unorganised shop. Things are scattered here and there and the items available are in large quantity.

Karthik Narayanaswamy: Make sure to check the expiry date for each and every product you buy. If expiry date is not labeled or scratched out you know what it means.A seller who knows there are expired products in the rack and doesn't bother to remove them. One should feel guilty for doing this.

Parvathi Kumara Reddy Thavanati: I am happy to do service for our community like this eventhough a difference of expressions among some customers which is influenced by our COMPETITORS here and from México city particularly by RHOS, Mrs Rashmi and her husband Mr Vinod who are doing illegal business and staying in México illegally deceiving the INM (INM will come to know about this in few days). Soon I am going to promote and expand my business with 10% less than the price of our COMPETITORS. Soon it will be ANNOUNCED. Probably we may have a branch in México city with the help of the Embassy...Finally, Lakshmi Indian Store is for all the Indians.

La Flaca: what do users think?

Cinthia CH: La Flaca is one of the best fully vegan restaurants in Guadalajara. Is a must visit when in town. Everything there is delicious. The staff is super nice. The place is charming. I love all the plants.

Laurie Ebo: La Flaca is a small, vegan restaurant in Guadalajara. It's small in size but it serves up big tastes. I had the guacamole with chips, BBQ cauliflower wings with ranch dressing and the emouladas which were out if this world!😊 The playlist was very tasteful and the music played softly in the background. The waiter was very nice and patient with me as my Spanish is weak😫. But that didn't deter him. He was very gracious. The hostess, who may be La Flaca, spoke English and came to assist me with ordering. She was very pleasant and patient as well. I will definitely be visiting La Flaca again!😊🤗💗

Shellie Jones: I highly recommend La Flaca to anyone in search for great vegan food! We had the pozole soup, mushroom ceviche, and cauliflower wings which were all cooked and prepared perfectly. Everything had great flavour and was very fresh. The portion size was large for the price and was more than enough for two to share. Great service, our waiter was very nice and helpful throughout and was very quick with our order! Definitely stop by La Flaca if you’re in the neighbourhood!

Tanya Enid: Tasty and well crafted vegetarian food. Cute, unpretentious little place filled with greenery and plants. I had the eggplant taco, enmoladas and vegansito for dessert and organic merlot wine. All was good. I will go back.

Lauren Wicker: Everything that I have tried from this place has been incredible. The atmosphere is relaxed and green. Servers are kind and helpful. Great option for gluten free choices as well. Very affordable prices. Located just off of Chapu.Recommended dishes Apple Crumble, Vegan Soup, Guacamole …More

Crystal Gutierrez: The food was delicious at an affordable price. Server was attentive to detail, and polite. The place was clean and fresh. The only thing I would point out it's the ice cream was served in a plate instead of a bowl, it was a bit harder to use a spoon to pick icecream up. But overall great experience. Would definitely visit again and recommend the place.

Hiren Patel: Good vegetarian options. Chips and salads for free were great. We tried all the veggie tacos and we liked most of them!

Terrance: I've been to a couple vegan/vegetarian restaurants in Guadalajara and wasn't impressed, but then La Flaca: QUE PRECIOSA!! From the helpful, friendly waiter to the cute, but small space and its delightful ambience to the exquisite food. I had the enmoladas: rolled tortillas, tofu, nuts, sour cream, avocado, onions, and more. Excellent! I also took home a litre of cooked Peruvian beans for a mere 50 pesos.

Trish K.: This place came highly recommended and was conveniently located for my Guadalajara stay. Service was top-notch: fast, friendly and attentive. Chips and salsa brought to your table while you wait for your meal. Great vegan Mexican food, beautifully presented. Covered outdoor seating only, very popular, fills up fast.

Anna Mulcahy: Excellent!! So delicious. I prefer to do vegetarian more often than meat. Which in Mexico this is hard. But this place was amazing. So tasty, good portions, good price, lovely atmospheric and staff. Really was so nice to have traditional Mexican but vegan!! You must goFood: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
